In the immediate vicinity of the jack and jill Inn you will find the famous turreted entrance to Clayton Tunnel and the Jack and Jill windmills standing side by side atop of the south Downs. Both of these unique attractions are visible from our gardens.

Within a ten minute car journey is the seaside city of Brighton and Hove. the City offers a seaside location, with a vibrant and somewhat bohemian atmosphere as well as historic attractions and great eating and shopping opportunities, hence it has become dubbed by many as 'London by the sea'.

Also within 15 minutes by car are Plumpton Racecourse and Hickstead International Showground. Slightly further afield but still within 45 minutes drive is historic Arundel, boasting an 11th Century castle in a beautiful setting.

Annual events include the London to Brighton vintage car rally, affectionally known as the 'old crocks' race which pass right by the pub on the first Sunday in November.
